Livingston Eyre worked with Andrew Lett Architects up to Outline Design stage on this large headquarters building near Dyce Airport, Aberdeen. The building was designed with a street-like indoor space leading to office areas arranged in wings. The angled linear nature of the entrance avenue and the garden cafe spillout space at the rear build on the street concept, maintaining and enhancing spectacular views from and right through the building.

Dramatic angular landforms complement the layout of the wings whilst containing the sheltered and semi-private courtyards between them. The south and east margins of this landform are wrapped in a screen of native planting linking to local wildlife corridors and screening the two-storey car park beyond. Emerging from this natural woodland area and aligned with the wings are tall pines, replicated on both sides of the building.

The scheme is being constructed as a design and build contract.
