This scheme is a redevelopment of a large amenity site, which will both restructure existing and provide new sports facilities. Due to the adjacent nature reserve and the site’s sensitive location on the banks of the Thames, the proposals have to balance the demands of the sports grounds with those of the existing wildlife. The predominantly soft landscape will provide for everything from fishing to rugby and provide a setting for the new buildings.

Having carefully negotiated planning permission on a complicated site spanning two London Planning Authorities, complex funding schemes have to be put in place before Livingston Eyre Associates can take this project through to completion.
