The proposed Jewish Community Secondary School is located on the site of a former sixth form college in Barnet. The 1310 place school includes a Special Resource Unit for children with severe physical and mental disabilities, whatever their religious background.

The building is sunk into the surrounding topography except the side facing the entrance. This gives a natural privacy to the playgrounds. To the north of the School lies Monken Hadley Wood. The landscape around the north and west perimeters of the school is designed as natural planting providing a visual and ecological link to the school habitat areas. This planting will also provide screening the school and courtyards.

The plaza at the front of the school is broken by green blocks of lawn and planting that follow the irregular geometry of the wings and emphasise the main entrance, forming a legible point of arrival.

The school courtyards contain a variety of spaces and functions including hard paved and soft grassed spaces, outdoor dining and performance areas, educational resources such as habitat areas, sensory gardens and small quiet spaces, as well as pupil gardens all at raised level.
